Background and Context

The Wishing Well for Rural Development (WWRD) is a California-based 501(c)(3) charitable organization founded on October 9th, 2017. The corporation was granted a federal and California tax-exempt status. All your contributions are tax-deductibles (Tax-ID#: 82-3133135).

We envision a world where each impoverished rural community thrives.

Mission

WWRD directly promotes economic development in impoverished rural communities through support for clean water, education, farming, and community building with the goal of achieving a basic income.

WWRD adheres, recognizes, and values the culture of social responsibility and the responsibility of transparency and accountability toward our partners and donors. We foster empowerment, gender equity, collective success and sustainability in communities we seek to help. We are aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in areas of our interests.
